NEW NOW: CFCL VOL.12 'SCULPTURE'
Since its founding, CFCL has approached clothing as more than something to wear, exploring how Knit-ware can connect the individual with the world around them. For VOL.12, the label draws from Joseph Beuys’ concept of “social sculpture,” bringing together art and social activism to imagine new forms of society. CFCL translates this idea into Knit-ware, where clothing becomes a medium for its maker’s intentions to spread through the act of wearing.
Knit-ware: Sculpture explores the relationship between fluidity and form through sculptural silhouettes and fluid drapes. Drawing from Beuys’ practice across social impact, creative expression, and aesthetic awareness, the collection considers how clothing can extend beyond the individual, creating a connection between fashion and society.
